God be with you till we meet again
God Be With You Till We Meet Again (Rita Lindsay)
God Be With You Till We Meet Again is the hymn that was sung by the Ngarrindjeri people to farewell the WW1 Ngarrindjeri soldiers as they boarded a truck and left Raukkan (Point McLeay) on the shores of Lake Alexandrina. This scene has been captured musically. The song commences in 2009 and travels back to around 1914 to that particular moment in time. At the end of the song a congregation of voices is included to attempt to recreate and bring that WW1 picture to life. This hymn was noted in the book titled Ngarrindjeri Anzacs, which was written by Dr. Doreen Kartinyeri.
