Commemoration Story (Flo Bourke)

Commemoration Story was the first song that I wrote for my Connecting Spirits collection. Due to this it was originally known as Song one, a very professional and well thought out title! The song expresses the feelings I experienced at our first service at Villers-Bretonneux where we commemorated a large number of soldiers from around both the Birdwood and Meningie districts. Commemoration Story represents the moment where the immensity of what we were doing really hit me and the moment when I began my personal commemoration story.
